Wedding planning can be an exciting and joyous time, but it can also be overwhelming and stressful. With so many expectations and to-dos on your plate, it can be hard to keep your heart full and your mind balanced. That's where I come in. My name is Janelle and I am an event planning extraordinaire. I have been obsessed with weddings since I was 12 years old and have been planning events for the past 17 years.
I know that planning a wedding can be a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be. I want to share my wisdom and experience with you to help you navigate the planning process and keep your joy intact. I will also help you keep a grip on your cash so that you can have the wedding of your dreams without breaking the bank.
I started my career working at a small hometown flower shop in Arizona, but quickly realized that I had a talent for the details. I met the love of my life in an MTV chatroom at 17 and moved to New York City with two suitcases and $1000. I married him at 23 and swapped the small florist for a much bigger one in NYC. Slowly but surely, I started building on my dream of becoming an event planner.
I have planned events of all sorts over the years and have learned a lot of valuable lessons along the way. I have some great tips, tools, and resources to share with you that will help you make the most of your wedding planning experience. I will also share some mantras and exercises to keep you balanced and help you stay focused on what matters most - your love for the person you are preparing to spend your forever with.
I want you to know that I am here to walk alongside you through the wedding planning process. I will share stories - the good, bad, and ugly - that will make you laugh, bulge your eyes, and maybe even make you cry. But don't worry, I am here to support you every step of the way.
