Say "YES" to the perfect dress

When it comes to picking the perfect wedding dress, the options can feel endless and overwhelming. But don't worry - with a little bit of guidance, you'll be able to find the dress of your dreams in no time!

First things first, consider your venue. Are you having a formal, black-tie wedding? Or are you going for a more laid-back, bohemian vibe? The setting of your wedding will play a big role in determining the style of dress that is right for you.

Next, think about your personal style. Are you a classic, traditional bride or do you prefer a more contemporary look? Do you want a dress with a lot of beading and embellishments or something simpler and more understated? Your personal style will also play a big role in determining the dress that is right for you.

When it comes to trying on dresses, be open-minded and don’t pay attention to the size. You may have an idea of what you want in your head, but sometimes the dress that you fall in love with is the one you never would have thought to try on. And don't be afraid to try on different styles - you never know what might look great on you until you give it a shot. Sizes on wedding gowns are very different, go by measurements and always order based on your largest measurement.

When it comes to choosing the right silhouette, consider your body shape. If you're petite, a tea-length dress or a dress with a shorter train might be a great option. If you're taller, a gown with a longer train and a more dramatic silhouette might be perfect. And if you're curvy, a dress with a cinched waist and a full skirt can be very flattering.

When it comes to fabric, consider the season of your wedding. A heavy satin or taffeta may be too hot for a summer wedding, while a lightweight chiffon or organza might not provide enough warmth for a winter wedding. And if you're getting married outdoors, keep in mind that some fabrics may be more prone to wrinkling or getting dirty than others.

When it comes to accessories, keep in mind that less is often more. A simple, elegant veil can be all you need to complete your look. And when it comes to jewelry, remember that your wedding ring will be the most important piece. A pair of diamond stud earrings or a simple pearl necklace can be all you need to add a little sparkle.

When it comes to color, consider the colors of your wedding. You don't have to wear white if you don't want to! Ivory, champagne, and blush are all popular alternative colors. Black is also being increasingly popular. If you're feeling adventurous, consider a colorful floral print embroidered on your veil or wedding dress. This is definitely something you will see a lot of in the coming year.

When it comes to budget, remember that a wedding dress is an investment. The average cost of a wedding dress is around $1,500, but prices can range from $500 to $5,000 or more. It's important to set a budget and stick to it, I don’t recommend trying on dresses that are outside of you budget unless you willing to increase your budget. It never fails you will compare every dress to the one you fell in love with that was 3K outside of your budget. but remember that you'll be wearing this dress on one of the most important days of your life, so it's worth investing in something you love. Also, keep in mind that alterations can add on another $1000 to the cost of your dress so make sure to include room for that when deciding on dress cost.

When dress shopping, keep the group shopping with you small and remember that your opinion is the most important one. If you don’t love it, it is simply not the one. Once you purchase—stop looking at dresses.

In conclusion, picking the right wedding dress can be a fun and exciting experience. Remember to keep your venue, personal style, body shape, fabric, accessories, color and budget in mind. And most importantly, remember to have fun and enjoy the process! It's all worth it when you find the perfect dress that makes you feel beautiful and confident on your special day.
